I'm 63 yes old and watched an awful lot of TV in those years..recently I've wondered why i have a TV..now i know.......this series had been...and i dont say this lightly,probably the best drama I've seen in the last 20 yrs.quite superb..Alan Bates is an inspiration to us all.Toby Jones plays the role breathtakingly well..all the regular cast members are quite superb..I can honestly say that all my emotions were exhausted by the end...post office senior management at the time should be ashamed of themselves..awards shoul go to this drama in bucketfuls
