I was so keen to see this movie, not least because Tom Hardy is in it. It was terrible. Boring. Slow. Disappointing. Zero plot. Less than zero character development. Save your money and rent the box set of Sons of Anarchy — it has much more heart.

Bad. Really bad. Terrible acting. No plot. Awful dialogue. One dimensional characters. Watching paint dry is a better use of your time than watching this movie. You have been warned.

I really wanted to love this film, but I'm ambivalent. I didn't get drawn into the story at all (missed opportunity to highlight the politics?) and didn't really connect with any of the characters (who are all these people?), although I concede the acting was very good. It feels like a self-indulgent film that happened because Kenneth Branagh wrote and directed it and had the necessary pull to get it made. Meh.
