This was a beautifully made movie. The atmosphere was deliciously creepy with the backdrop of the forest with trees that seemed to be lit. The house and hospital were unsurpassed in the intricate style which were both impressive and foreboding. This was all surprisingly done given the horror genre of the film. The scenes did not shy away from the difficult to watch elements. It made you really think...was the man truly evil...with his love for his daughter as his driving force? The daughter had an almost doll like look with her mask and clothing over her very slender frame. She moved stiffly like she was a posable doll, yet appeared to be floating when she moved from room to room.
This movie left me with many disturbing thoughts and images, though I feel fortunate to have found it. Masterfully created!
