I loved that 70’s show, it is still my “comfort show” when I want to go back and rewatch a series. But that 90’s show feels totally different than that 70’s show. The shows resolution is too high, and with the combined constant laugh tracks it feels like an old sitcom in a bad kind of way. Several of the actors lack chemistry, and many of the plots feel forced. The first season felt like they were trying to shove all the conflicts from the original seasons into one season, like Leia going from guy to guy, or her going from being shy and childish to immediately rebellious and outspoken. I enjoyed the second season more because there was more emphasis on actual 90’s things, but I would love to see better writing and less laugh tracks in future seasons.
