This is my #1 FAVORITE MOVIE EVER!!!! I loved watching it ever since the first time it came out in theaters. I was nine years old at the time and it still gets to me even now. From then on, Batman has become my favorite superhero. Even one of my nephews is into Batman. I even bought him a Batman comic book: "The Dark Knight." I myself have collected many things regarding Batman, from movies,books, magazines, and even Soundtracks. I'm still collecting but all in all, the 1989 film will always be my favorite of all!!! What I love about this movie was how they made it dark and gothic like which actually how Batman is suppose to be. I think that director Tim Burton did a great job because back then people raved about it, especially with actor Michael Keaton playing the lead role of Batman dispite the fact that people objected to the idea of Michael Keaton playing Batman because of all the comedy movies he's done before and after. I thought he was great too and at that time he was my celebrity crush. I'm also a Tim Burton fan as well. I loved most of the films he directed or produced, in fact I own most of them including Batman and even Beetlejuice, which came out a year before Batman. What I also love about this movie was the Composing music by Danny Elfman. He made the movie with the music bewitching. It was if the music itself told the story. Especially when they had the late PRINCE in the movie songs. So yes I have both soundtracks of Batman. This is how truly devoted to this movie. Now I know there were others to carry on the role of Batman after Keaton and they were good as well. I've even heard that former Twilight actor Robert Pattinson may be the new Batman. That caught me by surprise!! Don't get me wrong. I'm a Twilight fan too, I'm even on TEAM EDWARD. Guess I've always been into brooding men with dark side. Then again who isn't? So I guess what I'm saying, will he make a good Batman like Keaton and the others? Well, lets hope so. But meanwhile I will continue to watch my #1 favorite movie whenever because I will NEVER get enough of it probably if I live to be 100 years old, it will still be it for me. That's right!!! BATMAN 1989 movie will always be it for me!! ALWAYS!!!!
