While I’m happy that were finally getting a Eurovision counterpart (missed opportunity to call it Amerivision). The show just fails to capture what makes Eurovision special. Not sure if this is the case with everyone, but I have never heard of the person representing my state. Hard to have pride in someone I don’t know or really like. The voting which should have been a simple 12 point scale like Eurovision… I still don’t get how it works. The post card moments are WAAAAY too long. This is a case of a remake being a sloppy and lazy version of an original.
