I found out about this show from an edit posted on YouTube with Lorde's 'Ribs'. I didn't really understand what it was all about because I believed that it was just something on the internet that wouldn't be appealing to me. The comments were a shower of applause and appreciation for someone named 'Gallavich', which I assumed was a person... from whatever the confusing source of the edit was.
Years later, I remembered a vague picture of two wounded men sitting under the bleachers - after months and months of pondering where I came across the image, my YT recommendations resurfaced that edit again. The picture I described was the thumbnail of the video. I did some research on it, read up about it, and finally came to the conclusion that my initial conceit was wrong, very wrong.
Gallavich is a great ship, perhaps my favourite and Shameless has become my go-to binge. Although I discovered and began watching the whole series after they wrapped up for their final season, it was the highlight of my lockdown to watch the entire dysfunctional and industrious Gallagher family grow up - and keep up with Frank's daily antics.
