Double Dare was an interesting game show to say the least. I would close my eyes when the solution (person, place, or thing) would appear on screen. Then I’d open eyes when I heard the chime to play along with the contestants. I rarely guessed the the correct solution given the clues. And the SPOILERS end game was the lengthiest of all end games of its era. Overall, Alex Trebek had control and had done a good hosting job keeping the game at a steady pace.
