Save your money guys, this has to be one of the least fun games to play at the moment if you're into your FPS games. Here is a list of why you shouldn't waste your money on this rubbish and probably buy Battlefield 3 or 4 even though they're much more dated, they still have server populations and dedicated servers with admins. The cons:
- It's riddled with cheaters due to there being no anti-cheat system in place so expect to come across botters/hackers.
- The spawns just aren't functional at all, you will just spawn in places which are in plain view of an enemy only for them to kill you as soon as you spawn in.
- Maps are quite tedious, and small... some maps you can throw a grenade from one spawn to the other. And the likes of Shipment and Rust are just pointless.
- It's just made for camping, that's all I need to say about that.
- When/if you play Ground War expect to have campers just sitting around your spawn waiting for you just to be sniped constantly.
- Far too many killstreaks make it bedlam at times, it would be so much better if there was just a mode for infantry with gun vs gun and no constant cruise missiles.
- I feel like I have to come back to this even though I've mentioned it already but... SPAWNS! They're ridiculously bad, if you do decide to purchase MW you'll know exactly when I mean
- You have to pay for every season that get's released so Activision just love bending everyone over just for a few weapon/vehicle and character skins.
- Some of the game modes are just a mess. Domination for instance, there are times I just question it's exsistence.
- Vehicle play is awful! Especially when a 'tank' has to shoot a human body right on the spot because apparently splash damage doesn't exist?
I could probably go on but I won't be that guy that just slanders this game mercilessly I will say it does have some decent things about it.
- The gun play is brilliant, if it wasn't riddled with people just sat in corners or spawn camping it'd be so much better.
- Visually it's gorgeous, and it runs very smoothly on my system which isn't worth £3000!
- The Campaign mode is great! I really enjoyed that.
- There's a good variety of weapons!
I haven't even bothered to play 'Warzone' due to the videos on YouTube I watch and see how streamers are just constantly coming across hackers or aimbotters. (I'd advise anyone to watch a few videos before you buy just to be certain if it's the game for you)
That's all I'm gonna write on this, I implore anyone who is thinking of buying this to look at other games that are set in modern day warfare such as Battlefield 3 & 4 or Insurgency on Steam, much more fun and tactical games and player base.
