What on earth has happened to this programme? We have been fans of Silent Witness since series one and have always enjoyed the characters and the stories. This series has just been so ridiculous that we will be glad when this last story has come to an end. We will watch just to see how it pans out. Why so many add on and inconsequential story lines, who is bothered if the inept DS is having a relationship problem, adding nothing to the story. Who in their right mind would lead a group of elderly and vulnerable people out in a torrential storm. Nikki’s behaviour is not befitting of her previously professional and conscientious character. We hope Jack’s dad is okay but his character has gone down hill too. The whole series has been farcical to be honest and like many friends of our age(76 and 80) sad to say we will not be looking forward to another series. Bring back Clarissa! Larraine and Peter
