After watching #PushpaTheRise on the OTT platform I felt I should have watched the film in theatre.......but after watching #kantaramovie in the theatre, I realized it would have been a mortal sin to have missed out watching this movie in the theatre. The premise of the film is a folklore set in the tribal lands of coastal Karnataka about how a demi god protects the land and the people of the region from outside gluttony. After the initial scenes setting the premise of the movie, the whole movie is beautifully presented, with very well timed humor and amazing dialogues. You will not feel bored throughout the movie one single bit. The action sequences through out the movie is excellently choreographed and you will feel the wow effect through out each of these scenes. But the power packed performance of #RishabShetty is something which will leave you breathless. The penultimate scene of the movie when he is possesed by the Guliga Daiva, his performance is definitely going to leave you overwhelmed, exuberant and stunned. I watch a lot of movies, but there are hardly few which has left me speechless with goosebumps even after leaving the theatre. Hats off to #RishabShetty, the national award cant belong to anybody else this year. To all my Non Bangalorean friends, do not wait for this movie to come on the OTT, if a theatre near you is playing this, do not miss to watch it......as I said earlier, it will be mortal sin to have missed this performance on the silver screen 🙂
