It is and has been clear that Trump is a thug. What remains is what we do about it. It sounds like new evidence is flowing today. I imagine it will also be compelling. The Justice Department needs to act - Trump is not above the laws that he so purposefully broke. As to the people who supported him, and for those who still do - I remind you that many young Americans gave their lives, often alone and in pain, in order to protect our democratic values and our constitution. Our democracy has never been perfect, but it has always been worth fighting for. I hope all Americans hear what the Republican witnesses are saying. I'm a democrat, but I know and love many republicans. Let's not keep our heads in the sand, or this, surely, will happen again. It is a Republic, 'if we can keep it'.
