It seems apparent to me that Acolyte is being made with people from top to bottom that are not diehard Star Wars fans. The overall quality of the series is suffering from a lack of elder/veteran movie making.
I believe this ensemble could pull off a good second season with the inclusion of some well experienced actors and directors to inspire A New Hope
