Half of these reviews are just people being nostalgic about the brand of Mario. While it does throw in a lot of Easter eggs it's pacing is rushed and it's just overall not the best. If this wasn't a Mario movie it wouldn't have done nearly as well as it did. It can be entertaining to watch but after about 30 minutes in it just feels like a chore to watch the rest. Acting was great and they did well, but its just a cash grab movie to build the Mario and Nintendo brand
