Would not recommend this book for any young child - kids are so impressionable and the lessons in the book are minimal, while the bad behavior seems encouraged. Some quotes from the book: “listen to their sore losers whine” as well as “ignore those big babies” and “I don’t care if I ever have a friend I’ll do it all alone! I don’t need anyone’s help.” We went through and crossed out more than half the book so that we wouldn’t read the parts that encourage this type of talk and behavior in our children. If we could go back we never would have bought it. That was our temporary fix until our toddler becomes bored of it and we can throw it away. Would not recommend purchasing I’m shocked by how many great reviews there are..
