Idk how this movie is so hyped up. The very first opening scene does a good job and the scenes following after build up mystery and suspense. However the mystery aspect is never executed at all. She figures out the mysteries and decoding in 3 minutes. The plot is all over the place and just leads you from one place to another and doesn’t give you any time to build up suspicions or guesses for the next move. The camera work is just over the top with trying to make it seem eerie. It’s just another “satanic” plot line with no real motive. The ending doesn’t wrap up anything. They spent so much effort on making the film seem scary when the actual story line has no depth what so ever. It doesn’t flow how a truly good horror movie does like hereditary. They were so back and fourth with the mystery vibe and gore vibe and satanic vibe. It is all over the place. Just another below average horror flick with a good marketing team.
