Locusts. Cmon. If you’re a TRUE Jurassic park fan then you will hate this film. It’s less a dinosaur movie and more an action/adventure film. The story is insanely complex and seems to be a money maker than art form. They tried too hard to give the dinosaurs personality and create hero dinosaurs and villain Dino’s. They’re dinosaurs, not dogs. I didn’t think it was possible to be worse than the second film but this is close. What made the original so legendary was the breathtaking cinematography, organic Dino scenes and simple storytelling. The crazy thing is we’ve been waiting 30 years for dinosaurs to live amongst us and they delivered an action movie more about locusts than dinosaurs.
