Super disappointing. It sucks bc I was excited about the casting and how they had POC as the main characters and the trailers REALLY hyped me up with the fashion and hot new characters buuut I have to say —Don’t know WHY or who allowed this show to air, but whoever did caused so much embarrassment to the gossip girl franchise. The first thing they shouldn’t have ever let happen was revealing who gossip girl is in the first episode 🙂 like that completely defeats the whole plot and premise of what gossip girl is. Thats what made the original show so exciting and if you’re doing a completely different cast WHYYYY would you change something that’s so big about the show. Utter disappointment, wish they could’ve at least kept it in the archives and did a screening to people who actually care about gossip girl before airing. Like who in the world let this sh** show happen. I feel bad for the cast for taking part in such a disappointment.
