Oceania is by far the most exciting SP album since 1998. If anyone says they have not put out a good record since the 90s, Oceania will prove them wrong.

I was not expecting to be amazed by yet another reading of The Dark Side of the Moon, but this is a very special album. Leveraging spectacular vocals, orchestral arrangements and some electronics, it translates Pink Floyd's work into jazz without losing the original's force and re-exploring the themes adventurously.

Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 is an exciting release as it sees the return of original guitar player James Iha and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. However, it is a weak release in every other sense.

A fair effort that falls short for what you might expect of The Smashing Pumpkins. It stands out in their discography as the only one with Mötley Crüe's drummer Tommy Lee. Standout songs include "Tiberius", "Being Beige", "One and All" and "Drum + Fife".
