If your a hardcore fan of the original ff7 the first thing you need to do when playing the remake is get the original out of your head. If you can do that then you’ll have a good experience with the game. If your looking for the experience of the original then this is not it depending on you experience with original. I was one that spent hundreds of hours playing this game as a child to get everything obtainable in game: materia, weapons, limit breaks, characters, items and chocobos. Beat all bosses including ultimate weapon, ruby weapon and emerald weapon. I know this is just Midgar but the materia has already changed and the weapon rank system is terrible. Not a fan of the remake.
