Utterly terrible film, Bill Nighy given an awful script and no opportunity to show his talent. Not too sure what age group this is aimed at but under 12 would be about right.
There is so much more to say about homelessness than actors with a poor script who seem the least homeless possible. It wasn’t helped by a main character Vinny being a miserable and unsmiling individual it’s impossible to like.
This could have been a complete classic of a film given the subject matter and Nighy’s dry humour and wit - but it was just appalling from the cardboard first scene onwards.

Absolutely shockingly awful film, with the killers voiceover lasting the first 20 minutes painfully telling us exactly what he thinks and does - shortly before mucking up an assassination. Totally unlikeable character just going from one job to the next without easy explanation as to how they are linked. I was left feeling quite strongly that I DIDN’T CARE what he thought any more.
This film really is one for the bin.

I found this somehow difficult to watch having spent many years in and out of care homes for relatives. The screenplay & characters mocking stereotypical care home staff & residents isn’t a good look.
This would have been a real winner if it had been adapted to a school environment with RJ as caretaker.

Incredible series, really good script no perverts, abusers, edges or the usual angst every other film has

Extremely boring drawn-out film, very ‘Russian’. Not much of a storyline and no plot. Very serious subject matter but dealt with poorly and definitely one to miss.
