There is no point to this film. They writers should be ashamed of themselves. They killed the mother from the original film then limp through disconnected story lines never really going anywhere. The writers hoped the nostalgia of the past film would be enough. Just another example of writing by committee.

My daughter and I were looking forward to seeing this live action film. We sat down to and look forward to the live experience like, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Aladdin and Cinderella. Instead we are meet with a rendition devoid of fun, music and song. My daughter got so mad that she refused to finish the film. This rendition isn't anything like the original. It seems like they tried to make the film a serious rendition of the story, but failed to retain any of the light hearted moments from the original. This film will most likely go down in history as Disney's worst film reboot. I suggest you avoid it.
