Watching Kaya Scodelario grunt and groan throughout the entire movie is almost unbearable. But watching her "gulp-gasp", or whatever you call it where you're swallowing for some reason while you're terrified and out of breath, and once you swallow mid-breath you let out this loud "guh-ugh", yeah, whatever that's called, it's stomach churning. It is so blatantly noticable, and supremely annoying, it makes me never want to watch her in anything else, and will definitely ensure I do everything I can to avoid seeing this movie again. Seriously, I can't overstate how f**king horrible that noise/action is the 40 times she does it in that goddamn crawl space. The movie has a lot going for it, but even if you were to watch it on mute when it comes out on video, you'd still see her over-exaggerated face/throat movement over, and over, and over again, and it'd be enough to make you shut it off and never go back. It's just such a horrible, and horribly unnatural, bit of acting. Gators look good, but save your money and watch it free with ads from somewhere.
