This book was absolutely terrible! I don't know why I keep picking up books by Ali Hazelwood because they keep disappointing me.😪 I am a woman in stem but reading this just sounded like a bunch of nonsense words put together to sound smart😭 it sounded like she just googled "words relating to science" and just put EVERYTHING she could possibly find into this book! I was tempted to DNF from the time I read "easy peasy photon squeezy"🤢🤮 but I wanted to see what all the hype was about. Honestly, I regret not DNFing🤦🏻‍♀️ Her writing is absolutely terrible in this book. It felt like she had 1 idea and just wrote a whole story repeating it. Eg, each character had 1 characteristic and that was their whole personality for the entirety of the book. It got so redundant and I struggled to finish😭 Plus,some of the sentences had me rereading to see if it made sense. Felt like a whole lot of nothing. The smut was just cringey and frustrating. And once they did it it seemed like they couldn't stop because they did it for about 3 chapters 🤦🏻‍♀️ and trust me, it wasn't enjoyable to read💀 Didn't even have a good ending, just kinda felt like the story ended 💀 but honestly I was just glad it was over 💀 Overall, I would give it a 0.5/5 for effort, but since I can't do that, I'll give it a 1👎🏻 save your time and pick up another book🫶🏻

Has absolutely no plot! It was way too long and went on forever! I was tempted to DNF it..honestly I should have because it was not worth it. Anastasia was so annoying and was such a cry baby! And her whole personality was her being in therapy 🤦🏻‍♀️ plz give it a break! This book had way too much smut.. and not even good smut..everything was just cringy. Countless times I had to put down this book and roll my eyes in disgust. It seemed like the author tried to fit every possible scenario in this book and it just felt wayyy overdone. Also, I did not like the pregnancy trope🤢 they were so young! Definitely a terrible read. I strongly do not recommend.

Don't waste your money. The first story was okay, Second was good enough and third story I'm forcing myself to read because I paid for the book. All the stories were very predictable and the writing of the third story was awful.

This book is definitely not worth the read. The first few chapters were so slow I almost gave up on reading it. *Spoiler* The ending made no sense!!! Yes it was surprising that he was behind the murder but why did he have to do all that? Why didn't he just talk to Alicia about the affair? Was the invasion really necessary? Also, if he was behind all of this, why didn't he just keep her silent? I understand he wanted to help her through the aftermath of the murder but making her talk would just lead to her telling someone about the incident and him being convicted. If he left her silent to begin with, he wouldn't have to worry about if she recognized him as the intruder, wouldn't have to inject her and then she wouldn't have written about it and made him get caught. Another thing, the author should have constructed the chapters in a chronological order because at the end of the book I was very confused about the timeline.
