Only heard of Jalen a few weeks ago when he was on the Cerys Mathews Sunday morning radio show. She played the first track on the album 'Come around and Love Me' which immediately pricked my interest as it sounded very reminiscent of 70"s soul. On this basis I bought the cd hoping the rest of the album would be of similar quality. I was not disappointed - great: songs, vocals and musicianship. Have been playing the album over the past couple of weeks and love it. Reminds me in parts of Marvin Gaye, motown and Isaac Hayes. If you like that style of music then I think you will love the album.
