I love cheesy Christmas movies and I was loved this one until Rachel cheated on her fiance. I was so happy there was any cringy acting and the story was pretty good, but....what? Rachel was so focused on finding her mother before and had turned down a kiss from Jake as well. She seemed like a sensible woman. Suddenly she just cheats on her fiance like it's nothing? And then somehow she forgot about her mission to find her mother when she was so close????? It would have been a little better if she had gone to find her mother without Jake, but it's like she totally forgot and didn't care about finding her mother anymore. I was really into her character until the cheating scene. It just made no sense to me and ruined the story completely.
