This is my favorite Godzilla movie full stop. You would never guess that the movie only cost 15 million to make. The CGI is shockingly well done and the sound effects and score are fantastic. Hollywood really could take some lessons from this film. Godzilla 1954's message of the dangers of nuclear weapons and Shin Godzilla's criticism of costly government inaction during a crisis are very relevant to Japanese history. But Godzilla Minus One's theme of suffering with PTSD and choosing to live and rebuild after adversity are portrayed incredibly well.
