The series should be advertised as ‘based on the title of Asimov’s books’. I reread all 5 of the foundation books in anticipation of this series. Five minutes into the first episode I turned it off to cool down. Months later I’ve started again keeping in mind that this is NOT Foundation, but an interesting series with the same name. I’ve seen in previous reviews that people were going to buy the books. Good luck. There is no resemblance. There is no ‘evil empire’ or cloned emperors in the book. Just a decaying empire that is blind to its own demise.
