I started reading g the hardcover (actually softcover) book a couple of years ago and couldn’t get into it. Gave it back to my friend. And then decided the memoir was too important not to read it so I bought the audiobook. And WOW .. the raw & real-life story, written without hesitation, is incredible. Sometimes I couldn’t believe that Tara would return again & again to her family. So brave… I would have left without looking back. I still haven’t reached the end so I don’t know how it will turn out but I do know that it is a very important book and can’t recommend it enough.
