Overall, I love how the story brings up social issues that some people find it hard to accept but that's just how the truth works, it hurts. I love how the story shows the reality of some religious leaders that has the quality portrayed by the antagonist (am I using the right term? I mean the bad guy) in this film. I think the La Luna brand idea itself is unique and when it's placed in a setting that's unusual to the norm, it really sets the audience with a fresh view. And I also love how they bring domestic violence issue and show how La Luna is a safe space for woman. That somehow made me feel La Luna should exist.
However, I must say, the drawing from Yazid at the beginning of the film resembles Sex Education season 2, maybe it's just me, but that drawing really reminded me of that.
And .. I wish Azura's script could be less cringe-y. Some of the script made the character looked like a wannabe.
But overall, I like it. Would've given 5 if I didn't think about the drawing that resembles Sex Education S2 and Azura's script. Or maybe it's her acting? I don't know I'm not familiar with her.
