It’s average. Maybe because I’m not too big of a dark comedy fan. It is watchable and I did enjoy it. Casting is amazing, Olivia Coleman once again is the perfect casting for a Queen (although Queen Annne is not the greatest Queen). Rachel Weisz is just stunning.

I went into this book blind (because I love crime thriller) and boy was I disappointed. The main plot was okay, it kept me going to find out what happens at the end, but I cannot get over the juvenile writing. This is not a a literary gem by any means. Weak characters and very unconvincing setting. Don't waste your money. Just borrow the book from someone if you have 3 hours (oh yes it was a very quick read) you don't mind wasting.

This movie is not a murder mystery, if you come here for mystery solving action, you will be disappointed. However, as a Julian Fellowe's fan, this will fill your cup. The drama, the flair, all true to Julian Fellowe's Screenplay style.
