Beautiful film. I cried quite a lot. Russel Crowe is absolutely phenomenal, and the characters are carefully written as full, three dimensional individuals. It's so sad, yet somehow heartwarming and beautiful. I recommend this to anyone. I can't wait to rewatch this. I'm glad I watched this for the first time by myself, so that I could experience every emotion with no distraction or thought for how I may be perceived and fully immerse myself in this film.

Brilliant movie. A tad unrealistic in the last few minutes, but well worth the watch. Carey Mulligan does a phenomenal job as Cassie. I highly recommend this.
