As someone entering the world of creative writing, this book was a great choice but is hardly as appreciated as it should be. Other books that teach creative writing often immediately adopt an instruction style when beginner writers probably expect or need exposure to the world of literature. Exploring interesting themes in the book made it far more enjoyable than the lengthy quotes of famous authors I frankly have little time for. I like this book and hope it will gain credit for helping me stay inspired and grounded in finishing my stories.
