As a mother this movie disturbed me a lot. Yes, there were twists and turns and lots of fun moment but couldn't accept the fact of Jeevan being made the scape goat. In Jailer, Rajinikanth' son deserved to die as he chose the path to be immoral and his ending could be accepted and Rajini's decision was applauded, but here the poor boy didn't had to be what he was. He was traumatized, he was dragged into this path. Just to hail hero Vijay in the end, sacrificing the son who already underwent so much couldn't be accepted. Better Climax: Revealing PD as the villain in the end and son helping father to end him, and all through the time the son grew up with Mohan, he knew who he was and was waiting for the moment to join hands with his father would have been a terrific theatrical experience. If there is an after story for Goat, I feel sorry for Sneha' character as a mother.

Worst movie in the genre of horror. If u get past the first half then there is some saving grace. This is the only movie where I saw the ghost as a hero, if not the ghost the viewers felt like killing the so called 'trekking group'. The director tried to mimic Hollywood but sadly made cringe as a movie. Throughout the first half as a viewer more than the ghost I felt like entering inside the screen and killing the characters and the dialog writer, omg. Only thing noteworthy about the movie is its climax.

First of all hats off to the director for coming up with this storyline and he was brilliant in his performance. The only weak point was the climax. The climax could have been like this, in my point of view. "Thandavam gives the role of kundi to the hero. He is heart broken and finally the troupe begin to perform but the hero is missing. Suddenly the current goes off and the torches are lit one after the other and there stands the hero in Arjunan costume and gives a terrific performance and ends it majestically, everyone in the troupe stands awe struck and the crowd begins to clap for the hero. Thandavam removes his head piece and goes straight to the hero in slow motion, remembering all that he did to him and his family. He keeps the crown at hero' feet and falls and die. Then 2 years later, a crowd is waiting for a street performance, Amu abirami wearing saree and mangalsutra, sits in the audience with a baby in her hand and the stage cloth shows hero's name in the Jama owner's place and amu saying appa is going to perform now to the baby and hero begins to perform everything in slow motion and the hero turns to his side and sees his father performing along with him with all smiles and THE END.
