Fellow Space Marine

I honestly can't wrap my head around the overall negative reviews this film got. By all means, going fully off the premise alone, this film should be nothing more than your typical C list teen sex infested shlock you'd find in the bargain bin, but it's anything but that. The movie was absolutely hilarious with surprisingly good makeup and effects (apart from a few alien scenes here and there), and has a legitimately good coming of age story for teens and young adults. The writers, directors, producers, etc did not have to try at all with a movie this stupid sounding, but I'm glad they did as the 3 main characters were immensely charming and likable, with every side character having insanely funny lines (minus the douchey vamp who's clearly supposed to be a Twilight rip-off, but you're supposed to hate him so tomato/tamato) and the action was very fun and zany. And I think that's the best way to summarize Freaks of Nature "very fun and zany." Hope more people give it a chance and this gains a cult following as so many comedy horrors do.

Being 22 and have watched this movie while babysitting my 6 year old nephew, I can say this movie is your typical kids film untill it decides to crack a highly risky joke every now and then that had me laughing harder than my nephew. This seems to be more 12-14 age ranged, but if you think you're kid can handle the more adulterated jokes every now and then be my guest

I'm 20 and have only cried during two movies in my life and now it's three. This is by far my favorite Christmas movie now!
