I can get over the bad acting at times. I can get over the unrealistic firefighting techniques. But holy cow, that ending was absolutely horrendous. Bode never does what he should do. He’s always either taking the fall for someone else, or getting himself in more trouble. The main character is constantly in conflict, he never has one episode where someone isn’t upset with him. And I can not get over the fact that Gabby, the ONE person who believed him about his drug test. The one person who stuck by him when he kept doing stupid stuff to jeopardize his parole, he just shews off at the end. And it turns out, they never get together! She marries someone else! So the entire love interest for the entire 1st season was all for nothing. His whole family, manny, everyone all came to his parole hearing to support him, in full uniform and in full support. And he throws it all away. At least Freddie and Cookie got to be together I guess 🤷‍♂️
