I have enjoyed this book very much indeed both for the story and the way Maggie writes in such a beautiful style of language. I have been fascinated by Hamnet for many years, always found it sad we do not know exactly where he was buried in the Churchyard, when Shakespeare's other daughter and wife are buried inside with him. I watched All is Well last year and this interpretation was also very moving. After losing my own son at aged 19 I feel a real closeness with this book and the feeling of grief and inspiration Maggie has beautifully created. Thank you for a wonderful book! The best book I have read for a long time and would recommend it to all my friends and colleagues. John Hodges
