Such a perfect adaptation for both book and non-book fans! Loved the movie! Loved the CAST (esp. August Diehl π€)! Loved the tone, loved the atmosphere, loved the subtext, loved the pacing, loved the intertwining timeline (one of my favourite parts tbh)! And the COSTUMES! Amazing!
Again, August Diehl stole all the attention as he should have! It's so unbelievably cool to have a foreign actor portray a character from Bulgakov's novel π
There's like only one tiny winy thing with CGI but we can live with that. No one should care actually when the movie is so good!
So overall 9/10 π
