I enjoy history and have read a great deal about the Napoleonic period, yet I found this film tedious and flat. It lacked any notion of Nap’s genius and was underwhelming. His life could easily have filled a trilogy and, as it was, it barely scratched the surface and lacked any real depth. Not a good movie.
