Good morning! I had the pleasure of receiving this book from Read to Grow in Branford CT to share with families at an event we had this past weekend. July 10, Read Aloud in the Park. Part of our City Initiative and the New Haven Board of Education Summer of Fun activities. It was an amazing day at the park and we had the privilege to read "Cows Can't Jump". It was a fun, interactive, fun filled story where the kids and their parents got deep into the story to not only read the story but we created a literacy vocabulary bingo to play with the families. Also, we had the families use their fine and gross motor and comprehension skills in having them act out what each animal did based on their memory. We allowed them to use the book if they didn't remember. We will be doing a second Read Aloud in the Park on July 24th in New Haven with a spin off, "Cows Can't Blow Bubbles".
