It was ok. Beautifully shot and dazzling barbieland sets. Plot was ok, but it lost my interest half way through the movie. It was too outlandish and ridiculous. I appreciate the message I think it’s trying to send but it felt force & preachy. Also the big speech fell flat for me. It’s not anything groundbreaking, literally everyone in the world deals with walking a line between too much and not enough. Marketing department did its job very well and caused great hype for the movie. But time will show this really isn’t a great movie about an iconic toy.
