First off acting is good. What's off is a few things: 1. The plot is so loose it makes one question are they really wanting to make a version of Kerala story part 2 2. Mockery of judiciary: a monologue of passionate dialogues that the protagonist has no proof of is somehow acceptable.l and moving. 3. The protagonist is a addict yet gives it up one fine day with no withdrawal and then has enough money to open a channel of his own. Ya right! Like that happens. 4. Bharat and Hindi speaking constantly thrown as pivot to all that makes you India. 5. The feeling it leaves you with is that in a country where Salman khan is still worshiped as Bhai, you bring out a movie that shows Naya bharat but blames muslims and the final scene has a background score chanting ram ram ram. Slow clap.

To start with, why was the VFX and CGI so colorized.... soo much color that it hurt my eyes...needless to say the lazy writing and direction that hurt my very being. This movie had soooooooo much potential, however what we got was cliché after cliché. Cliché 1 : it's a godamn love story ( if anyone ever referred a self respecting girl with 'xyz mera on button hai' .....I am sure castration would be imminent by the girl in question) Cliché 2 : who the hell falls in love at first sight.... star crossed lovers. With extra light falling on Alia to make her look angelic and Ranbirs lips were rose pink Cliche 3: any emotional breakthrough/introducing character.... break into a song Cliché 4 : rich girl meets orphaned poor guy with big heart and taking care of orphan kids... song sequence Cliché 5: Mouni looks like a rip off of scarlet whitch from the marvel universe. All things evil are dark and red. Cliché 6: lack of building up of any character... only one half hearted casualty in the loss of 1 kid who weilds a astra I can't even remember. Cliché 7: girl has no powers in a fight of supernaturals but will be there for her love for moral support with lighter There are so many more cliché and honestly one does not possess the patience to write all of them Dear dialogue writers....if any guy ever says 'tum mera light ho' he surely needs to be electrocuted with immediate effect
