Some say it's Mohanlal in a Lijo Jose movie ....good slow Cinema etc...It's nothing like that. It's film from a director who somehow got the good critical success of his previous films to go to his head and came up with third rate stuff mashing up Sholay, music of Good Bad Ugly and a lot of other films. It's a pathetic attempt. Avoidable

An average film which cannot break the typical Hindi film format entirely. Parinda was a good copy of 'on the waterfront ', Ekalavya disappointed; this is better than that last film of Vinod Chopra. He is improving as a director but yet to touch his own greatness as a Producer.
