There was a fair amount of promotion for this show months in advance which usually is a "Make it or Break it" approach which is usually a good strategy when it comes to any new show and by garnering my attention, I found myself highly anticipating this particular shows premiere. And I was not disappointed. Shows that use a Cerebral or Psychological factor usually catch my attention in the beginning stages(i.e. 'The Mentalist', 'Lie to Me', 'Prodigal Son', 'Blacklist', 'Sherlock', etc...), but then they either run out of time or I run out of interest. So far I'm still tuning in because of the intellectual awareness of the character Alec Mercer(played here by Jesse L. Martin). The side plot of Alec being the victim of a bombing that should have killed him, but still leaving him both physically and mentally scarred adds a little bit of intrigue to the story. So as long as it keeps this simple formula entertaining, I'll be streaming it every Tuesday Morning on Peacock🦚.
