Shame... script/plot definitely combination of decade old movies (i.e., "Meeting the Parents" and Zach Braff's "The Ex" and "I Give It A Year" ) Good parts; LOVE Quebec 🇨🇦 Canada, food, etc.. P.S. cute acting, outside from Braff's disappointment :( But hope to see more of actress Evelyne Brochu.

Writer/director took his climax moments from other movies .i.e., "54", Thelma and Louise, etc.. Directors "cameo" was horrible. His direct stare into the camera made it feel (movie) was rehearsed/fake. Again, that scene was stolen from "54". The cop played in this movie also played role from that scene in "54". Stealing ideas/plots sets a tone of unoriginality, vacant.

Film had potential, however, personally felt cast wasn't right? Why does leading lady ( Florence Pugh) have 21st century hair and yet every other cast member have appropriate 50's (20th century hair?) As well as her acting? Florence Pugh acting didnt fit the 50's character? That was misleading. And script direction was so confusing? Feel script was copied from "Stepford Wives", yet dialoge somewhat changed? Film better for age appropriate in their 20's. Hence why comments are positive for some on movie. Wanted to stop watching, but painfully continued, hoping for a better film to see. Good luck watching ;)

Sooo disappointing. Acting was subliminal. Waste of good talent. Including the wasted talent. Those who gave 5 stars, well...to each their own. Highly recommend movie IF need to fall asleep.
