Wow. So painfully relevant to the tortuous year that is 2020. 50 years later and what has changed? Police brutality and systemic racism are still rampant. Both time periods feature a horrific political environment and American citizens that continue to fight for justice and an end to these endless wars. This film was beautiful and tragic and breathtaking. The music, editing, directing and acting were perfectly executed. The last scene was so powerful. I cried. And rewatched the scene and cried again.
Thank you to everyone involved in creating this masterpiece. November 3rd is around the corner and this film only highlights how important this election is. We will finally elect a leader and a true patriot. We will stop repeating history over and over. We will prosecute 45 and the countless traitors of this country. This is our time.
