It's nice to see a movie that doesn't have super powers or super heros. Plot is overdone - evil ai robot wants to kill all humans because humans will destroy everything, etc. J. Lo 's character seems to cause these problems by unlocking some unknown evil inside the ai. As a result, she feels guilty and looks to right her wrongs. But because her actions caused the ai malfunction, she distrust ai. The entire movie is about her struggles with that trust and then ultimately becoming buddy buddy with the robot ai named Smith. It's like sci+rom+action. As much as I Dislike the romantic piece of it, it was a nice action based movie with JLo acting like a restrained puppeteer in a large elliptical machine with guns, armor, and ai. 3/5 stars. Coudl be better, but... glad it wasn't worse.
