It's not easy to put facts as they are in a movie because most of the movies in Bollywood have given the sugarcoated version of facts which are eating Bharath
from inside or if that's not possible, these movies present a secularised version of truth, which again is a half truth which is more dangerous than lies.
This movie shows the real life struggle which our scientists have gone through while making the Vaccine. The immense pressure from all corners - shortage of
raw materials, restrictions from every other NG0 in name of saving environment, dominance from international pharma market and worst of all the media
trial.
Vivek Agnihotri has encapsulated all these aspects beautifully in the movie, and didn't hesitate to expose the facts with evidence in the movie itself. Nana Patekar and Pallavi Joshi have given life to their respective roles and the conflict between these two
characters provides friction needed for a engaging story narration.
Last 30 to 45mins is where the movie reached its peak. The sacrifice done by our women scientist comes out in a glorious way, rest of the character keep bringing more engaging aspects on how Vaccine making was mutli-dimentional war, a war which very few could survive against international lobby and powerful
pharma lobby as well. And the Nana patekar gives the final explosion exposing inside enemies with point by point rebuttles, bringing up the contributions of our
ICMR scientists, especially the immense efforts and sacrifices made by our women to make this Vaccine and go mask free into the world. This entire sequence
made everyone to have have tears and scream "Bharath Mata ki Jai" till the end credits rolled.
Absolutely greatful for this movie. And yes "India can do it".
