Incredibly slow paced writing, extremely one-dimensional characters with motives that are rather tired as they follow the standard shonen formula. The writing is incredibly predictable and I truly hope this isn't the standard that Squeenix provides for a game that has incredible assets but falters when it comes to the foundation that is its writing.
