An absolutely wonderful production. Not to the expectations of the book but great acting. Two things I must admit were too obvious in the series ,was the performance with the violin scene. I'm not a musician but I became cross-eyed trying to watch the violinist hacksawing the instrument. Mishka's role would have been believable if the director had his/her makeup artist cut his dreadlocks off to be more realistic for the period , even Bob Marley hadn't been born yet

Argyle was fun and entertaining in the beginning. Howard was fine as the timid author but failed miserably as the fast action hero with the gold glitter gown. She might have pulled it off if she had stayed with the jeans. Argyle was neat until the last 45 minutes when you needed sunglasses.
